How is this different from Lifestyle Scene Video?

This renders only the still, for 4 credits. The video type paints the same kind of frame and then animates it. Render the still first when you want to approve the setting before paying for the clip.

Can I describe my own setting?

For a location not on the list, use Custom Scene Still, which takes a free-text description. Scene details here is for small additions to a preset.

Does the product's color change to match the scene?

The scene's light is applied through shadows and reflections, but the product's own colors, label and artwork are instructed to stay as photographed.

What ratio does the still come out in?

By default the same shape as your upload. Choose a ratio from the list to get 16:9 for a wide video frame or 9:16 for a vertical one.

The still is a good way to audition a setting before spending video credits on it: render the scene for 4 credits, check the product and the mood, then send it into Lifestyle Scene Video or Make clip. The clip starts from exactly that frame.

A short note in Scene details adds a prop or a detail — a linen napkin, a sprig of rosemary — without replacing the preset. The output follows the ratio of your upload unless you pick one from the list.
