How long should a plants seasonal be?

Five to eight seconds. Shorter clips compress the motion; longer ones slow it down rather than adding more. Render two lengths and keep the one that reads best on a phone.

Does the Seasonal type work for glossy or dark potted plants, planters and seed kits?

Yes. The opening frame lights the plant for its material, and the seasonal motion keeps that light consistent. For very reflective potted plants, planters and seed kits, a dark set shows the highlights moving best.

Will my plant stay identical through the seasonal?

The opening frame is painted with instructions to keep the leaf shape, pot glaze and soil level as uploaded, and the Seasonal motion — snow, petals, confetti or summer light move around a still product — moves the camera and the light rather than the product. Compare the clip with the plant before you publish.

Plants seasonal video

A seasonal of potted plants, planters and seed kits is a holiday or seasonal scene with matching motion, and most plants sellers never get to shoot one. Upload one photo of a potted monstera and the Seasonal type renders it: snow, petals, confetti or summer light move around a still product, with the leaf shape, pot glaze and soil level as photographed.

Use the seasonal clip in the video slot behind your main images: it shows plant shoppers a holiday or seasonal scene with matching motion without breaking Etsy's media rules. Gifting categories and seasonal campaigns suit this type best, and potted plants, planters and seed kits are squarely in that group.
