Watches feature Close-up video

The Feature Close-up type turns a steel watch into a macro move onto one named detail — a push-in, pan, rack focus or tilt lands on the detail you name. For watches that means a slow turn under a single hard light on concrete, in a clip four to six seconds long, with the dial, hands, bezel markings and strap held in every frame.

Every watch in the range can go through the same Feature Close-up settings, so the eBay collection page and the PDP galleries look like one shoot. Swap Feature Close-up for another type with one click to split-test watches and straps.

Clip

Rendered in the Studio from one product photo.

What this is for

  • Motion — a push-in, pan, rack focus or tilt lands on the detail you name — that keeps the dial, hands, bezel markings and strap readable
  • A feature Close-up clip in 16:9 or 9:16, the shapes watch buyers see on Shopify
  • The same watch rendered as a feature Close-up and nine other types for split tests
  • Consistent Feature Close-up settings across every watch SKU so the gallery reads as one shoot

Suggested order

  1. 1

Render watches and straps as a macro move onto one named detail

The Feature Close-up type sets the motion — a push-in, pan, rack focus or tilt lands on the detail you name — while keeping the dial, hands, bezel markings and strap untouched.

  2. 2

    Set the shape for Shopify

16:9 or 9:16 covers the Shopify player; switch it with the shape chips before rendering.

  3. 3

Cut a second feature Close-up at another shape
