Watches unboxing video

For watches, Unboxing means hands lifting the product out of an open box: hands enter from below, lift the product, turn it once and set it down. One photo of a steel watch in, a unboxing clip out, dial and bezel identical to the source.

Photograph the watch with the label facing the camera before opening the Unboxing type. Set the shape to 9:16 for Shopify, keep the length at six to eight seconds, and render; the opening frame appears first and the unboxing clip follows.

Clip

Rendered in the Studio from one product photo.

What this is for

  • A slow turn under a single hard light on concrete — the kind of motion a unboxing adds to watches and straps
  • Watches and straps filmed as hands lifting the product out of an open box without shipping a sample to a studio
  • Motion — hands enter from below, lift the product, turn it once and set it down — that keeps the dial, hands, bezel markings and strap readable
  • A unboxing clip in 9:16, the shapes watch buyers see on Shopify

Suggested order

  1. 1

Render watches and straps as hands lifting the product out of an open box

The Unboxing type sets the motion — hands enter from below, lift the product, turn it once and set it down — while keeping the dial, hands, bezel markings and strap untouched.

  2. 2

    Set the shape for Shopify

9:16 covers the Shopify player; switch it with the shape chips before rendering.

  3. 3

Cut a second unboxing at another shape

Shopify and eBay use different player shapes; the same watch renders at 9:16 with one click.
